Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirodjidin Mukhriddin, met with the Ambassador of the United States of America, Manuel Micallef, on May 2nd. The meeting focused on various aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries, as reported on the Tajik MFA website.
Both sides praised the high level and depth of the multifaceted cooperation in the spirit of friendship and long-term partnership. The discussions particularly emphasized the strengthening of political dialogue, regional security and stability, as well as the development of cooperation between Tajikistan and the USA in economic, social, investment, and humanitarian fields. They also highlighted the promotion of contacts and constructive negotiations within the "C5+1" format.
