President Emomali Rahmon Implements Extensive Changes Across Government Agencies

President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has made changes in the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the President and in other government agencies, the state leader's press service reports.

In particular, Ismoilzoda Hakim has been appointed as the First Deputy, Isfandiyor Yazdonzoda and Merali Bodurshozoda as Deputy Directors of the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies.

Additionally, Emomali Rahmon appointed new ambassadors to Japan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, Qatar, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

In agreement with the President, heads of several departments of the Agency for Drug Control in the Sughd and Khatlon regions, the city of Dushanbe, as well as heads of two Border Troop structures of the State Committee for National Security, "from among young and qualified personnel in these areas," have been appointed, the press service notes.

The government of the republic has also appointed new leadership in several agencies, including:

- Civil Aviation Agency,

- Agency for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage,

- Ministry of Finance,

- State Committee for Land Reclamation and Geodesy,

- State Unitary Enterprise "Real Estate Registration",

- Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education,

- Special Property Agency,

- Executive Service,

- Main Geological Department.

Their names are not disclosed by the press service, emphasizing only that they are "qualified and experienced personnel in these fields."

Following the personnel changes, the President met with the new appointees to discuss the current unpredictable situation both regionally and globally. The importance of strengthening and expanding friendly relations and cooperation with partner countries was highlighted, as well as the significance of representing Tajikistan on the world stage, attracting investments, tourists, and modern technologies.
