In 2024, the region of Sughd in Tajikistan has allocated 629,000 somoni to reward the winners of the regional stage of the Republican competition "Tajikistan - My Beloved Homeland." This decision was signed by the head of the region, Rajabboi Ahmadzoda.
According to the region's press service, the first stage of the competition will take place in April-May in cities and districts, while the second stage will be held in June-July of this year in the regional center.
It is worth noting that, by the order of the country's president, 3,785,000 somoni will be allocated for the national stage of this competition this year. The funds will be provided from the president's reserve fund allocated for the year 2024.
The competition aims to identify new talents in the fields of music and performing arts, drawing and design, enhance professional skills, enrich vocabulary, improve performance art, promote and revive traditional crafts, showcase the rich culture of the Tajik nation, elevate the professional level of new musical works, foster creativity, as well as select the best examples of melodies and songs, and collect artistic works.
