in Politics / Tajikistan - by

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has emphasized the need to create new jobs for fellow citizens to reduce labor migration and offer employment opportunities within the country. This call was made during his speech at the reopening ceremony of the Khujand Fortress after its renovation.

Rahmon stressed that the establishment of jobs is vital in decreasing citizens' reliance on foreign labor markets. He underlined the necessity for maximum effort from every citizen to contribute to the homeland's development. Rahmon pointed out sectors like product processing and craft development as potential areas for generating new job opportunities.

While recognizing that challenges cannot be resolved overnight, Rahmon expressed confidence that with diligence, they can be overcome. He commended the population of the Sughd region for their ability to address assigned tasks and praised entrepreneurs for their role in creating nearly a thousand new jobs in the previous three days.
