Honoring Mother's Day in Tajikistan: A Message of Love and Appreciation

in Politics / Tajikistan - by

It is very symbolic that this glorious holiday is celebrated annually in the early days of nature awakening, with the arrival of spring fragrances and on the eve of International Navruz. "A mother is the source and creator of life, a symbol of purity and beauty. A woman is a wellspring of love and loyalty, a living embodiment of maternal tenderness and sincerity," stated President Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of Mother's Day in Tajikistan on March 8.

Children should strive to cherish loving mothers, their hard work, and care, so that they can serve them and receive their kind blessings. Because a mother is the most sacred, precious, and invaluable creation for a person and deserves respect, love, and care.

Recognizing the significant and valuable contributions women and girls make to the political, economic, social, and cultural life of the country, the state and government prioritize ensuring their rights and interests.

Taking this opportunity, I want to express sincere gratitude to all respected and dear mothers, women, and girls of the country. We are witnesses to the worthy merits of mothers and all women during the difficult days of the history of the Tajik national state, that is, during the period of the imposed civil war in the early 1990s.

They patiently and faithfully supported the policies we adopted, which will never be forgotten. Creating necessary conditions for further developing the abilities of women and girls engaged in all spheres of the national economy, and thus ensuring the sustainable development of society, is the main goal of the state and government of Tajikistan.

We, men, born and raised by mothers, are obliged to show respect to mothers not only on holidays but every moment and hour, always throughout our lives, showing care and tenderness towards them, serving them, striving to be worthy of their kind blessings.

Sincerely, I congratulate all respected mothers, dear women, and girls of Tajikistan on Mother's Day – a bright holiday of spring, beauty, loyalty, and love. I wish each of them health, success, and a prosperous family life.
