President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, issued a decree today, April 15, removing Gissar's Chairman Kosim Rohbar from his post, as reported by the president's press service. Rohbar had held this position since 2022, when former Chairman of the Local Development Committee, Kosim Rahbar, was appointed as the acting head of the city of Gissar in January.
The new acting mayor of the city is Jabbir Nosirzoda, who was previously the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the country. The whereabouts of Kosim Rohbar following his removal from office are currently unknown.
Additionally, a decree was signed today for the resignation of Shohmansur Ibrahim Bilal, the head of the capital's district, citing a "transition to another job." Olimzoda Safar Mahmadshe has been appointed as the interim head in his place.
Furthermore, Rahmon Islamiddin Khayridin was appointed as the head of the Antimonopoly Service of Tajikistan by a government resolution. Zoir Fayzali Rahmonzoda has been appointed as the rector of the State Educational Institution "Technological University of Tajikistan."
President Rahmon also signed a government resolution today to remove Naimi Alakhona Kodiryon, the Deputy Director of the Social Insurance and Pension Provision Agency, from his position. He has been replaced by Jalolzoda Firdavs Mahmadmurad.
