Today, on April 22, President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, has embarked on an official visit to Italy and the Vatican. According to the press service of the head of state, he is accompanied by his foreign relations assistant, ministers of foreign affairs, internal affairs, industry and new technologies, agriculture, energy, transportation, culture, the chairman of the Committee for Investments and State Property Management, the director of the Drug Control Agency, and others.
During the visit, discussions are expected to focus on cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy in economic and investment spheres, attracting Italian companies to Tajikistan, regional events, and the development of transportation corridors. An investment forum "Tajikistan-Italy" is also planned to showcase investment opportunities in Tajikistan to Italian companies.
