Today, on April 29, a meeting of the government of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the country's Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda.
The meeting discussed the results of the social and economic development of the republic in the first quarter of 2024, as reported by NIAT "Khovar".
Details of the discussion were not disclosed.
It was noted that after the reports of the responsible persons, the Prime Minister of the country set specific tasks for the heads of state structures to correct deficiencies, effectively implement plans, and carry out directives and assignments.
During the meeting, a report by the Chairman of the Committee on Food Security of the Republic, Makhmadsaid Faizullozoda, on the "Food Security Program for 2024-2028" was also heard.
Furthermore, projects of several laws of the republic were considered, including:
- "On the indicator for calculations"
- "On the Tajik National University"
- Amendments to the Administrative Offenses Code, the Labor Code, the laws "On the Ombudsman", "On Education", and "On Quarantine and Plant Protection"
These documents have been submitted for consideration to the parliament.
Government members also discussed issues related to the National Concept for Assessing the Quality of Education in Tajikistan until 2044, the Board of Trustees of the Civil Initiatives Fund for Ensuring Public Order and Strengthening Legality, and the establishment of the state unitary enterprise "Sports Complex" at the Tajik National University.
