Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Delegations Meet in Batken District

In a recent meeting in the Batken district, delegations from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan came together to discuss various important issues. The meeting took place at the border between the village of Orto Boz in the Ak-Tatyr Batken district and the Tajik village of Khochai Alo.

The Kyrgyz delegation was led by the head of the Batken district, Uchkunbek Zhorobaev, while Tajikistan was represented by the head of the Isfara district, Bakhriddin Bakhdurzoda. The meeting was also attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies, heads of water management departments, and other officials from both regions.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed border issues, law and order, irrigation works, canal cleaning, as well as ways to prevent conflicts and provocations. It was a productive dialogue aimed at enhancing cooperation and maintaining peace and stability in the region.
