Uzbek Prime Minister Expresses Condolences to Russia After Terrorist Attack

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, visited the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tashkent on March 25th and conveyed his condolences to the Russian people through Ambassador Oleg Malginov. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek government.

Earlier, Abdulla Aripov had extended his condolences to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, following the numerous casualties from the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" complex in the Moscow region.

On March 24th, Russia observed a day of mourning for the victims of the attack. The Embassy of the Russian Federation was visited by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, Interior Minister Pulat Bobojonov, Emergency Situations Minister Abdulla Kuldashev, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuridjon Ismoilov, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate Sadyk Safayev, and other officials.

According to the latest reports, the terrorist attack resulted in the deaths of 137 people and approximately 150 others were injured.
