The head of the Russian Federal Security Service, Alexander Bortnikov, announced on Tuesday that 11 individuals have been detained in connection with the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow. He mentioned that the number of accomplices identified will increase.

The first four suspects, all Tajik citizens, were arrested and charged with terrorism. They are currently in custody for two months. Photos and videos from the court show the suspects with injuries, possibly sustained during or after their arrest.

The following three arrested individuals, members of the Islamov family, were taken into custody for their involvement in the attack. Charges have been filed against two of them, while their father remains a suspect.

Another suspect, Alisher Kasimov, is accused of providing accommodation to the attackers. Discussions have arisen regarding tightening immigration laws and potentially implementing a visa regime for Central Asian countries following the attack.

Various politicians have voiced opinions on the matter, with some advocating for stricter migration policies. However, not all politicians see migrants as a threat to national security, emphasizing the need to target the masterminds behind terrorist acts.

Economic experts warn of severe repercussions if migrant labor is restricted, as it plays a crucial role in various sectors of the Russian economy. Limiting migrant workers could lead to labor market disruptions, wage inflation, and overall economic instability.
