At 4:36 on Friday, some areas of Tashkent and Tashkent region experienced a minor earthquake. The epicenter was located 20 km northwest of the capital in the Keles district of the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostication Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the magnitude of the earthquake at the epicenter was 3.2, with a depth of focus of 10 km.
The underground tremors were felt in the Almazar and Uchtepa districts of Tashkent with a magnitude of 2, and in the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region also with a magnitude of 2.
