Additionally, a 41-year-old resident of the Akhangaran district intended to illegally obtain 20 hectares of land leased for 49 years to a livestock farm owned by his mother. He demanded $100,000 for facilitating the acquisition of necessary documents and was arrested upon receiving a $30,000 advance. In the Bukhara region, the head of a fruit-growing farm was detained after receiving a $30,000 advance for the sale of 5.3 hectares of land leased to the farm for 49 years.
