From March 15 to 20, due to expected precipitation and temperature changes in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Hydrometeorological Center has announced avalanche danger. The warning includes:
- Tashkent Region: Bostanlyk, Parkent, and Akhangaran districts (Chatkal mountain system)
- Samarkand Region: Nurabad, Koshrabat, Samarkand, and Urgut districts
- Jizzakh Region: Bakhmal and Zaamin districts
- Kashkadarya Region: Dehkanabad, Kitab, Kamashi, and Shakhrisabz districts
- Surkhandarya Region: Baysun, Kumkurgan, Saryasiy, and Uzun districts
- Namangan Region: Papsk district
Citizens residing in mountainous areas, tourists, and drivers heading to mountainous regions are urged to take precautionary measures.
