In a heart-wrenching incident at the Karasu array in Samarkand, a woman left behind two newborn twin girls in the entrance of a residential building. The news was brought to light by the Zamon program on the Sevimli channel.
The infants were stumbled upon by a nurse who was visiting a patient in the building. Initially ignoring the bag, she was drawn by the sound of crying and decided to investigate further.
"I called my doctor. One child was lying below, the other on top. One was facing this way, the other that way," she recounted.
Surveillance cameras captured the woman, wearing a headscarf and a mask, but her identity remains unknown at the time of the report.
Fortunately, the twins were found in a satisfactory condition, and medical professionals are providing them with the necessary care. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
