The Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety at the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan has announced a ban on the sale and storage of 19 weight loss drugs that are being distributed via the internet. The center has urged citizens and pharmacies to be vigilant.

The list of banned drugs includes Reborn Ultimate, Lipotrim Ultra, "Sexual Figure," Al-Sheikh, Fatzorb, Fatzorb Ultra, Fatzorb Plus, Spirulina, Arabic, Reduksin Layt, Kod S, Shafran diet, Gold Puma, "Fat Blocker," Hot pepper, "Fermentaiz," "Lipoxin for Weight Loss," "Kuaimuy Extra," and Slim ultra (Samyun Wan).

An investigation into these drugs, which were illegally imported into Uzbekistan and seized by law enforcement agencies, revealed the presence of sibutramine. This substance is an anorectic drug, a type of amphetamine, a psychostimulant that suppresses appetite and enhances the feeling of satiety. Sibutramine is classified as a potent substance in Uzbekistan.

The aforementioned 19 drugs are not registered in Uzbekistan as medicinal products (not included in the State Register of Medicines and Medical Devices). Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical control authority has warned of criminal liability for the illegal circulation of potent or toxic substances.
