The press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs reports that the director of a private company in Chui region is suspected of large-scale fraud. According to the statement made by the head of the Frunzensky village council to the police department of the Panfilov district, the director of the company "NEK LTD" was supposed to install new irrigation channels for a total of 15,003,640 som within 30 working days as per the contract. However, after receiving 12,241,222 som, the director failed to fulfill the obligations and went into hiding, causing significant financial damage to the state.
The suspect, born in 1985, was detained as part of the investigative measures related to this crime and placed in pre-trial detention. The investigation is ongoing.
