A judge from the Sverdlovsk District Court in Bishkek has been detained for extortion of a particularly large bribe, according to the GKNB press center.
On March 20, Judge K.A.K. and lawyer G.M.V., who acted as an intermediary, were arrested in connection with a criminal case initiated by the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the extortion of $12,000.
It was discovered that the judge held secret meetings with the lawyer in the restroom, away from surveillance cameras, where they divided money received from certain defendants in exchange for favorable verdicts.
The initials K.A.K. correspond to the surname of Judge Alma Kamchybekovna Kadyrkulova from the Sverdlovsk District Court.
