Criminal Case Opened for Illegally Transferring State Forest Lands into Private Ownership

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office has reported that a criminal case has been initiated against officials who unlawfully transferred lands from the Forest Fund into private ownership. According to the information provided, the district prosecutor's office conducted an inspection at the Nookensky branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography. 

The district branch employees of the land resources service, abusing their official positions, transferred a land plot from the State Forest Fund to individual K.K. for personal gain at the Toskool-Atinsky forestry and issued him a state act," the statement said. As a result, the state incurred a material damage of 2 million 63 thousand 35 soms. A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Abuse of Official Position" regarding this incident. The investigation has been entrusted to the Nookensky district police department.
