The suspect in fraud, Bekzat Omurbekov, has been released on house arrest. This information was reported by the press service of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
According to the court's decision on March 20, the investigator's motion from the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky district of the capital was granted.
"The previously applied measure of restraint in the form of detention for O. uulu B. has been changed to house arrest," the statement said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the detention of O.B. and Sh.T. on suspicion of fraud. They gained trust and deceitfully, pretending to have connections with the country's leadership, took $50,000 under the pretext of offering a job as the head of a regional office.
