The Prosecutor's Office of the Sverdlovsk District of Bishkek recently conducted an inspection of the management of the Patrol Police Service under the Main Directorate of Interior Affairs of the capital city, as reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.
During the investigation, it was discovered that individuals A.U.S., A.I., S.A., A.N., and D.T. were found guilty under Article 193 of the Code of Administrative Offenses by the Sverdlovsk District Court and were subsequently arrested for three days. The court decisions were sent to the Patrol Police Service for enforcement.
However, some officials from the management, acting against the interests of the service and for personal gain, failed to promptly transfer the offenders to a detention facility. Instead, they falsely marked the cases in the ERP System as "Case closed due to compliance".
In response to this misconduct, the Prosecutor's Office of the district has initiated a criminal case against specific individuals from the Patrol Police Service management under Article 337 "Abuse of Power" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation of the case has been assigned to the State Committee for National Security.
