in Corruption / Kyrgyzstan - by

The owner of the "Bugu" and "Makish" trading markets in Karakol, R.A.T., has been detained as reported by the GKNB press center. It was found that R.A.T. had been collecting money from entrepreneurs operating in these markets for a long time, concealing the actual profits from fiscal authorities.

Numerous violations in the financial activities of the markets have been identified. As a result, in order to compensate for the damage caused to the state, the trading markets "Makish" and "Bugu" located on a 1.14-hectare area, valued at over 233 million soms, have been voluntarily transferred to the city mayor's office.
