Over 20 Billion Som Contributed to Fighting Corruption, Ministry of Finance Reports

The Ministry of Finance has announced that a total of 20 billion 445 million som has been received from the fight against corruption. These funds, in the form of voluntary or compulsory compensation for damage caused to the state, are being transferred and accounted for in deposit accounts of law enforcement and supervisory authorities, as well as in the deposit account of the authorized state body, the Ministry of Finance.

The funds reimbursed to the state for crimes and offenses by law enforcement and supervisory bodies are credited to the treasury deposit accounts of the respective authorities. The transfer of funds from the deposit account of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, established in 2021 to support the republican budget, is made to the Stabilization Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As of March 27, 14 billion 145.1 million som has been credited to the State Budget, and 6 billion 299.9 million som to the Stabilization Fund.
