The case of former Minister of Natural Resources Dinara Kutmanova, her son Kemelbek, and others is being considered in court. The case is at the stage of questioning the representative of the aggrieved party. The process has been postponed to April 9 at 14:00.
In turn, the detention of Dinara Kutmanova and her son Kemelbek has been extended until June 5. It is worth noting that the former minister Dinara Kutmanova was detained in late July 2023. She previously reported that her son Kemelbek was kidnapped in Istanbul, Turkey, with a ransom demand of $600,000. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denied this information.
On July 22, the GKNB press center announced that as part of a criminal case on corruption in the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Foundation for Nature Development, deputy ministers and close relatives of Dinara Kutmanova, the director of the Chui regional department of the ministry, and entrepreneurs were detained.
Commenting on the case of Dinara Kutmanova, President Sadyr Japarov noted that if the evidence does not confirm her guilt in embezzlement, she will be acquitted. In October, Kemelbek Kutmanov was detained in Istanbul, brought to Kyrgyzstan, and placed in pre-trial detention by the GKNB.
