During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev raised concerns about the utilization of stolen cars in Kyrgyzstan. He highlighted that valuable stolen vehicles are being brought into the country, seized, and subsequently used by law enforcement officers. Bekeshev expressed worries about the lack of criminal cases opened on this matter and the apparent lack of progress in those cases.
In response, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Abdykadyr Razaev mentioned that there are currently two ongoing criminal investigations with expert results pending. Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev assured that information on each car would be provided within a week.
