Investigation Launched into Land Scandal Near "Sulaiman-Too" Museum in Kyrgyzstan

The Prosecutor's Office of Osh has conducted an inspection to verify compliance with the land legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. This information was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to their findings, employees of the land management and real estate rights registration department, abusing their official position, issued a state act granting the right to private ownership of a 6,818 square meter plot of land in a specially protected natural area near the National Historical and Archaeological Museum Complex "Sulaiman-Too".

The value of the plot is 204,540,000 soms, and the state has incurred significant damage. The Osh Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case under Article 337 "Abuse of Official Position" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation has been entrusted to the State Committee for National Security.
