The "Batken" customs detained a smuggling of radish seeds weighing almost 800 kilograms. This was reported by the Customs Service.
According to the information, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was stopped in the village of Zhany-Zher in the Batken district.
During the inspection of the cargo compartment, 798 kilograms of radish seeds in packaging produced in the Netherlands were found without accompanying documents.
The average market value of the goods is 2,253,552 soms. The state budget incurred damage of 402,259 soms.
The collected materials have been handed over to the Batken region prosecutor's office.
