In the Karasuu district, the head of the Tax Service department was detained. This information was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
The official was caught red-handed while receiving 100,000 soms. A businessman filed a complaint requesting measures to be taken against the head of the Tax Service department in the Karasuu district. According to the complainant, the official extorted 100,000 soms from him to conceal an alleged tax debt of 650,000 soms, which arose from the import of nine cars into the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The arrest took place on April 27th when the tax official received the 100,000 soms. He was placed in the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
