The recreational area "Edelweiss-Tour", owned by the politician Ravshan Dzheenbekov detained in the Kumtor case, has been transferred to the state's balance sheet. This information was announced by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to their data, the total area of the recreational zone is 4 hectares, located on the shore of the Kirov Reservoir in the Talas region. Based on the conclusion of the valuation expertise, the value of the land plot with lightweight administrative buildings is 16 million 871 thousand soms.
The department added that the transfer occurred voluntarily.
It was established that the specified land plot was illegally allocated to individuals affiliated with Ravshan Dzheenbekov, who was the head of the State Property Management Fund in the 2000s.
