The Ministry of Health press center has announced the construction of a new building for the Ibn Sina Republican Children's Rehabilitation Center in Cholpon-Ata. During a working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alymkadyr Beyshenaliyev, inspected the progress of the construction.
The construction of the building began in May 2023 and consists of three two-story buildings. The facility is designed to accommodate 100 beds and meets all sanitary and epidemiological requirements. The center includes two departments, clinical and bacteriological laboratories, X-ray, physiotherapy, dental offices, a salt cave, a dining hall, a sports hall, and a therapeutic exercise hall.
The construction works have been completed, and interior finishing works are underway. Additionally, a decision has been made to allocate additional funds for drilling a well to provide clean drinking water and for landscaping the surrounding area, as well as building sports and playgrounds.
The center is scheduled to open on June 1, on International Children's Day. It will provide medical and rehabilitation assistance to children suffering from pulmonary diseases.
