In Turkmenistan, a joint project to modernize laboratories in the Ahal velayat and Ashgabat has been implemented with the financing of the government and the assistance of UNDP. The news was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
As part of the project, innovative equipment has been installed in 10 clinical laboratories in velayats and 28 laboratories in Ashgabat. The modernization included the installation of equipment for conducting general and biochemical blood analysis, blood clotting studies, urine analysis, microscopic examinations, and other types of diagnostic tests.
The laboratories in the Mary, Lebap, Dashoguz, and Balkan velayats have also undergone modernization.
The project aims to strengthen the clinical laboratory service in Turkmenistan. Further work will continue to supply the laboratories with reagents, consumables, and provide technical support.
