Sanatorium "Ala-Too" has been transferred to the management of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the ministry reported this information.
As noted by the Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beyshenaliyev, this was done to improve the working conditions and health improvement of medical workers in the country.
The rest home "Ala-Too" is located in the Issyk-Kul district and was built in 1974. The area of the sanatorium's land plot is 24.76 hectares, which is in need of landscaping. Additionally, due to significant wear and tear, there is a need to demolish cottages and construct new buildings.
In 2023, the rest home was transferred to the presidential administration. It is planned to construct new buildings with a capacity of a thousand beds under the administration of the presidential administration.
