A citizen who was on an international wanted list has been apprehended in the Chui region, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the information provided, in May 2023, the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan issued a search warrant for a citizen named R.S., suspected of large-scale fraud.
"In the Chui region, the wanted individual was identified through an outdoor surveillance camera with facial recognition technology. The apprehended suspect has been handed over to the relevant authorities," the statement reads.
