Underground Smuggling Tunnel Discovered in Suzak District, Jalal-Abad Region

In the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, an underground tunnel for smuggling has been uncovered by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) press center. The tunnel was found in the house of a resident of the village of Bek-Abad near the border with Uzbekistan.

The tunnel has a depth of 15 meters, a total length of 130 meters, and a height of 1.7 meters, as reported by the GKNB. The owner of the house, E.A. born in 1986, has been detained for organizing the smuggling channel.

Kyrgyzstan's security services are working to identify others involved in the operation.
