More than two thousand police officers will be guarding public order during the celebration of Nooruz, with 1,500 of them deployed in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the capital's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information provided, the police officers are on high alert.
"The main events will take place at the central Ala-Too Square," the message states.
The Ministry reminds citizens to immediately report to the nearest police officer or call the emergency number 102 if they become victims of criminals or witnesses to unlawful actions.
