Kyrgyzstan citizens are bringing flowers to the Russian Embassy in Bishkek today to honor the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred yesterday, March 22, at the "Crocus City Hall" in the Moscow suburb.
Spontaneous memorials have appeared in many cities worldwide: people are laying flowers and lighting candles at Russian diplomatic missions.
Many countries have issued statements condemning the Moscow attack. The UN Security Council has condemned the act and stressed the need to hold all perpetrators, organizers, and sponsors accountable. UN Secretary-General António Guterres strongly denounced the attack at the "Crocus City Hall."
According to the Russian Ministry of Health, over 180 people, including children, were injured. The Russian Investigative Committee reported that 93 people lost their lives in the attack.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has released a statement. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the Moscow terror attack.
"On behalf of myself and the people of the Kyrgyz Republic, I express sincere condolences and ask you to convey words of deep sympathy to the families and loved ones of those who perished as a result of the shooting on March 22, resulting in numerous casualties at the 'Crocus City Hall.' Strongly condemning this crime, we declare our support for efforts aimed at effectively combating this evil and advocate for the unity of the global community in the fight against international terrorism," the text reads.
