Two Kyrgyz women, Edita Zhusupova and Maiza Gulzhigit kyzy, went missing during a terror attack at the "Crocus City Hall" concert center. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the information and search efforts are ongoing.
On March 22, a terrorist attack occurred at the "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow. Thousands of people had gathered for a concert when three assailants in camouflage without masks entered the building and started shooting at close range. The Moscow Region Ministry of Health reported three children among the casualties. The Investigative Committee of Russia confirmed the death toll from the attack has risen to 115. Search operations are still underway.
Initial reports suggested that two Kyrgyz citizens might have been affected by the attack. However, after investigations by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kyrgyz Embassy in Moscow, no confirmation was made regarding Kyrgyz nationals involved. The foreign affairs department continues to gather information about Kyrgyz citizens who may have been impacted by the tragic events at "Crocus City Hall."
