The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has confirmed that Sherzodbek Turgunbaev is alive, based on information from the embassy in Moscow. Contact has been established with his relatives, revealing that he had been out of touch for years. Reports from Kyrgyz citizens who worked at the Crocus City Hall indicate that Turgunbaev was not present at the scene of the tragedy on March 22.
The embassy is currently verifying the whereabouts of Turgunbaev. This update comes after human rights activist Aziza Abdirasulova initially reported his death. Meanwhile, the Kyrgyz Republic's diplomatic mission in the Russian Federation continues its efforts to locate two Kyrgyz women who were working at the Crocus City Hall on the day of the tragedy.
Diplomats are conducting visits to medical facilities and morgues, coordinating with government authorities, and maintaining communication with the families of the missing individuals. On March 23, it was reported that two Kyrgyz women, Edita Zhusupova (24) and Maiza Gulzhigit kyzу (20), went missing during the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall. Zhusupova and Gulzhigit kyzу were working at one of the cafes in the concert center at the time of the incident.
