Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Conveys Condolences to Russia Over Terrorist Attack

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, conveyed condolences to his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, after the tragic terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall." The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that Kulubaev strongly denounced the barbaric event and offered Kyrgyzstan's support in the fight against international terrorism. He also pledged comprehensive assistance to mitigate the consequences of the tragedy and expressed sympathy to the victims' families. Lavrov expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan for its support and willingness to provide aid. Both parties agreed to maintain communication and share relevant information.

On March 22, a terrorist attack took place at the "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow, where four individuals in camouflage attire entered the premises and fired upon concert attendees, leading to 137 fatalities. The total number of casualties later reached 287, including three children. Initial reports indicated possible involvement of two Kyrgyz citizens, but this information was subsequently unverified. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs is actively verifying details concerning any Kyrgyz nationals who may have been impacted by the tragic incident. Two Kyrgyz women were reported missing during the attack at the "Crocus City Hall," and search efforts are ongoing to locate them. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that the four attackers were apprehended in the Bryansk region and then transferred to Moscow, where a court implemented preventive measures against them.
