Kyrgyz law enforcement have reported the arrest of a Kyrgyz citizen who was wanted internationally. The police discovered child pornography made in Kyrgyzstan. A criminal case was initiated under Article 161 of the Kyrgyz Criminal Code for distributing pornographic materials.
The investigation revealed that the suspect took explicit photos of his sleeping nine and ten-year-old sisters at home in Kara-Balta. He stored the images on his mobile phone and online accounts. Additionally, his accounts contained videos of minors subjected to sexual abuse.
The suspect, born in 2003, left the country, leading to charges under Article 158 for lewd acts. He was detained in Russia and extradited to Kyrgyzstan, where he is now in pre-trial detention for a month. The investigation is ongoing.
