Police Detain Member of Criminal Group Kamchybek Asanbekov, Nicknamed Danila

A member of the criminal group Kamchybek Asanbekov, known as Danila, has been detained in Bishkek, as reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Police Department. According to the information received by the criminal investigation department, Danila was found in possession of an unidentified brand of firearms.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 267 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition. The arrested individual, identified as S.D., born in 1976 and known by the nickname Danila, is a registered member of the Kamchybek Asanbekov criminal group and is currently held in detention at the Bishkek City Police Department.

The suspect has a history of previous convictions for crimes such as kidnapping and armed robbery under the Kyrgyz Criminal Code. Despite law enforcement efforts against criminal groups, he continued to support criminal activities and provided financial aid and supplies to individuals in detention.

During the search, a pistol with erased serial numbers and one magazine with eight cartridges were seized from S.D. According to experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the weapon is identified as a Makarov pistol with a 9-millimeter caliber. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
