32-year-old Suspect in "Crocus City Hall" Terror Attack Brought to Moscow Court

The eighth suspect in the terror attack at "Crocus City Hall" has appeared in the Basmanny Court in Moscow. The Investigative Committee of Russia has requested the arrest of 32-year-old Alisher Kasimov.

According to the Telegram channel "Ostorozhno, novosti," Alisher Kasimov is a businessman from Krasnogorsk. The investigation revealed that he had rented an apartment to the suspects involved in the attack at the entertainment center. Kasimov claimed in court that he had no knowledge of the terrorists' plans and had simply rented them the apartment through the "Avito" service.

Alisher Kasimov, a Russian citizen born in 1993 in Osh, Kyrgyzstan, resides in Krasnogorsk with his three children. He runs a tea house with his brother.

The terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" occurred on March 22 near Moscow during a concert by a music group. Four individuals in camouflage without masks entered the building and started shooting at people at close range. The FSB reported that the attackers were apprehended in the Bryansk region and later transported to Moscow.

Seven suspects had been previously detained. The Basmanny Court has ordered the detention of Alisher Kasimov for the investigation period. According to preliminary information from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, 139 people lost their lives in the attack.
