The National Center for the Prevention of Torture has labeled the detention of a father and son at a market in the town of Kochkor-Ata as cruel treatment. The agency's press service has stated that the Center is preparing to address the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to their findings, law enforcement officers deliberately inflicted harm on the men during the arrest. The level of force used was deemed excessive for apprehending a man suspected of hooliganism. The excessive physical force employed by the officers during the arrest of the suspect and his son is considered to be cruel treatment.
