ODKB to Conduct Joint Military Exercises in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (ODKB) is set to conduct military exercises named "Rubzh" in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. According to a report by Asia-today, citing an interview with the Secretary-General of the ODKB Imangali Tasmagambetov, seven exercises are planned for this year.

Tasmagambetov mentioned that the exercises will include a strategic command-staff training of the joint headquarters, secretariat, and relevant ministries and agencies of the ODKB member states, as well as command-staff exercises such as "Interaction", "Indestructible Brotherhood", and special exercises like "Search", "Echelon", "Rock", and "Cobalt".

He also noted that the joint training plan for the management bodies and formations of the collective security system for 2024 has already been developed and approved.

As a reminder, the Collective Security Treaty Organization includes Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Armenia, and Belarus.
