The State Committee for National Security, in collaboration with the Osh City Hall, has returned land near the Central Stadium named after Ahmatbek Suymabaev to municipal ownership. According to archival documents, the original area of the stadium was 5.5 hectares, but around 1.2 hectares were transferred to private individuals after the 2000s.
Currently, a mutual agreement has been reached with the current landowners to start dismantling buildings and structures near the main gates of the Central Stadium. As compensation, the city hall will provide the landowners with plots of land of similar size in other areas of Osh city.
