69 Kyrgyzstan citizens have been banned from entering Russia following a terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall in Moscow. Almaz Imangaziyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, revealed this information during a parliamentary committee meeting on international affairs, defense, security, and migration.
He mentioned that since March 23, several Kyrgyzstan citizens have returned home from Moscow airports. Some were on a blacklist, while others were arbitrarily deported from Russia. Russian authorities have the right to refuse entry to foreigners if their appearance does not inspire confidence, according to Imangaziyev.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the Kyrgyz citizens covered their own travel expenses. On March 22, a terrorist attack occurred at the "Crocus City Hall" near Moscow. Four individuals in camouflage without masks entered the building and started shooting at people attending a concert. The attackers then set the auditorium on fire. The attack resulted in the death of 143 individuals and 360 others were injured. Nine suspects, including those involved in the concert hall assault, have been arrested in connection with the criminal case.
