The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry is investigating reports of a citizen's arrest in Russia in connection with the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall." According to the Ministry's press service, some Russian media outlets have reported the arrest of a Kyrgyz citizen in Moscow over discussions related to the attack at the concert hall.
The Ministry has submitted a diplomatic request to Russian law enforcement agencies to acquire information on the progress of the preliminary investigation into the criminal case.
Earlier, the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Kamchybek Tashiev, advised against blaming an entire nation for the "Crocus" attack. The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia has cautioned about the active recruitment of citizens, including minors, through social media and popular messaging apps like Telegram for terrorist activities in Russia.
