The preliminary investigation into the crash of the Mi-8 MTV helicopter on the outskirts of Bishkek has been completed, as announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan, Ruslan Mukambetov.

Mukambetov stated, "The commission has completed the investigation of the incident, while the Military Prosecutor's Office is still conducting further investigations. According to preliminary data, all units and components of the aircraft were in working order. The causes of the Mi-8 MTV crash were heavy weather conditions and human factors."

The country's Prosecutor General had previously reported that the Commander of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kilychbek Aidaraliyev, has been temporarily suspended from duty.

It is worth noting that on January 17, as a result of the helicopter crash of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces Mi-8 MTV, one serviceman was killed, and 10 others were injured. The incident is being investigated by the Military Prosecutor's Office. Preliminary information suggests that the Mi-8 MTV helicopter made a forced hard landing around 11:00 near the village of Dostuk at the Frunze-1 airbase during training flights.
