During a session of the Jogorku Kenesh, MP Sultanbay Ayjigitov announced that Tajikistan's special services had detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan. According to Ayjigitov, Kyrgyz citizen Kubatbek Yuldashev traveled to Tajikistan in August 2022 to visit his parents, where he was detained during a conflict by Tajik special services who accused him of being a spy and sentenced him to 13 years in prison.
Ayjigitov demanded that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Committee for National Security take action on this matter.
