The press service of the Bishkek City Police Department has reported on recent preventive measures taken among foreign students in the city. The authorities have noted a rise in road traffic incidents involving foreign students working in fast delivery services on motorcycles and electric scooters.
In response to this concerning trend, explanatory work has been conducted with the managers of fast delivery services to ensure compliance with Kyrgyz Republic legislation on external migration. As a result, over 100 foreign students have been prohibited from working in these services.
Furthermore, efforts to identify and prevent channels of illegal migration have led to the detection of 41 cases of organizing illegal migration by the Bishkek City Police Department. The majority of the organizers are foreign citizens. Following investigative and operational measures, criminal cases have been referred to the court for further proceedings. These actions aim to uphold the law and safeguard the well-being of all residents in Bishkek.
